Since 2012, Anessa has been meeting the civil legal needs of moderate and low income individuals and their families by offering reduced fees and by actively participating in various pro bono and volunteer programs such as Northwest Immigrants' Rights Project, El Centro de la Raza Legal Clinic, and King County Volunteer Legal Services. ​ Anessa has assisted workers, immigrants, and people in debt and other crises to achieve practical solutions to their legal problems.  One of her favorite parts of practicing law is connecting with her clients and helping them to tell their stories.
